## Hey, I’m Scrayos.

I’m a software engineer from Germany, and I’ve been working on Minecraft projects since 2012. What started with running and tinkering with servers eventually became a long-term passion and a serious part of my technical background.

I currently run **JustChunks**, where I’m involved in pretty much every technical aspect of the project — from server software and architecture to infrastructure and keeping everything running reliably.

My main focus is backend and systems development. I work extensively with **Kotlin and Java**, but also use **Go, Rust, TypeScript** and other languages depending on the problem. I particularly enjoy working on systems where performance, scalability and reliability matter.

Outside of Minecraft, I work professionally in IT and have contributed to **large-scale production systems across different companies and industries**. I’ve also been a **tech lead on multiple substantial projects**, taking responsibility for architecture, technical direction and engineering decisions in addition to writing code.

Minecraft has been a constant throughout my career, giving me the opportunity to work on everything from small servers to complex, production-grade infrastructure. This profile is mainly a portfolio of that experience and the kind of technical work I enjoy doing.

If you’re interested in the technical side of Minecraft — especially server architecture, infrastructure, performance or large-scale systems — there’s a good chance we have something in common.
