Changelog
Everything we've shipped recently, newest first.
- Improved
Reorder skills on a listing
A listing's skills can now be dragged into your own order, the same way a profile's already could — the order you set is what applicants see.
- New
Direct contact from moderation
Moderation can now reach any account directly through the inbox — regardless of whether someone is open to contact, has been banned, or has blocked a team. Messages arrive as "MCJobs Team," without naming the individual moderator.
- Fixed
Search filters update as you pick them
Choosing a category, pay range or any other search filter used to leave the field showing its old value until you pressed Search. It now shows what you picked right away.
- Improved
Notifications from another team now open
A notification about a team you belong to but were not currently acting as used to show up with no link at all. Clicking it now switches you into that team first and takes you straight to what it is about.
- Fixed
The bot check loads reliably now
Arriving at a sign-in, registration or application form by following a link from another page that also uses the bot check could sometimes leave the widget missing entirely, with nothing to submit past — a refresh was the only way through. It now loads once and stays put.
- Fixed
Spaces no longer vanish from a cover letter
Past 80 characters, a space typed at the end of the application's cover letter was silently removed the instant it landed. Fixed.
- New
An about page
“About” now says why MCJobs exists, how a team works on it without sharing a password, how we make money and what is explicitly not for sale. Plus the names of the people behind it.
- New
Leave a team yourself
Anyone in a team can now leave it themselves, from the foot of the team overview, whatever their role. Until now that took somebody with administrative rights removing you. Ownership is the exception: while you hold it alone, you transfer it or dissolve the team first. Whoever runs the team is notified when somebody leaves.
