A studio can have a recruiter
A studio posts openings and receives applications through them, but could give nobody the role that answers them — “recruiter” was offered to servers only. It is offered to both now, and “applicant”, the role that applies on the team’s behalf, stays as it was. A decision on an application a studio sent also reaches the whole team’s notifications instead of only the person who pressed the button, which until now left a studio without a configured webhook hearing nothing at all.

How a studio answers, and what it keeps private
A studio’s page now shows how it answers the applications it receives — the same figure a server’s page has always carried, withheld here on the assumption that a studio receives none. A hiring team can also open the profile of a studio that has applied to them, even one that is not in the directory, which was the one moment it mattered and the one moment it was missing. And a studio that has taken itself out of the directory no longer publishes its list of delivered work: the list follows the profile it belongs to, like the gallery and the skills beside it always have.

Getting started as a studio
The “where would you like to start” page now offers a studio path, which it did not — a studio founder had to pick one of the two wrong ones. The studio checklist is its own: fill in the profile, get listed in the directory, and post an opening only if your team is looking for people itself.

A studio’s own language, everywhere
Email, push notifications and Discord messages for a studio are now written in the language the studio set on its own profile. Until now they all came out in one language regardless, and a studio’s “we’re hiring” badge showed no picture at all — it looked for one in a place only servers have.

Straight to the content, with one key
Every page now starts with a “Skip to content” link: press Tab once and the next press is in the page itself, instead of walking through the whole header first. Screen readers also get a proper content area to jump to on every page, which several of them did not have.

The filters can be used with the keyboard again
On the job and talent lists, the first arrow key inside a filter closed the panel and lost your place, so choosing an option with the keyboard was not possible. Arrow keys now move through the options and the panel closes when you actually pick one.

A choice made the moment a page appears now counts
Two things could be undone without a word if you were quick: the identity you had picked to apply as fell back to yourself, and a handle typed on the team-creation form was replaced by one derived from the name. Both stand now.

Saved-search emails count correctly
A digest said "6 new jobs" whatever the real number was, and the point it resumed from depended on which listings happened to rank highest rather than on when they were published — so a match could be passed over and never mentioned again. It now states the true total and resumes from the newest listing in the window.
